Fulfilling The Great Commission: "Go into all the world...and make disciples." This is the guiding purpose of the evangelism team with a variety of creative ways to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ - knocking door-to-door, walking through the malls, visiting the prisons, and ministering at special events and festivals.

BENEVOLENCE MINISTRY
By providing food and clothing for those who are in need and by visiting the sick in hospitals and health care facilities, The Mercy Seat Benevolence Ministry seeks to fulfill the words of our Lord in Matthew 26:35 & 36--“I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in. . . . I was sick, and ye visited me.”

PRISON/JAIL MINISTRY
“I was in prison, and ye came unto me” (Matt. 26:35). These words are practiced by The Mercy Seat as a demonstration of God’s love, mercy, and grace. Teams are sent out to preach the gospel and to lead worship services, Bible studies, and prayer meetings in regional prisons and local jails.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER
The Keys To The Kingdom
Intercessors meet regularly and faithfully to uplift the leaders and ministries of this church as well as other churches, government, families, special needs, and the advancement of God's kingdom throughout the world.

MINISTRY SERVICE TECHNICIANS (MST'S)
Greeters and ushers make visitors and members know that they are welcome. They provide an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance to the staff, members, and guests by extending loving gesturesof hospitality as they greet and seat people entering the sanctuary. They serve as watchmen, servants, and hosts, always available with a helping hand and a ready smile.

THE MERCY SEAT MINISTERIAL FELLOWSHIP
The Mercy Seat Ministerial Fellowship is composed of Pastors, Ministers, and Elders. Its purpose is to provide support to our leaders in upholding and carrying out the vision; to undergird the membership with love and care, ministry and prayer; and to serve the local body and community in conjunction with existing Mercy Seat programs. This Fellowship provides ordination and licensing under the covering of The Mercy Seat for those working either full time or part time in ministry within a local church, and it handles transferral of credentials. This fellowship also provides training for Pastors who will ultimately be sent out to establish other churches and offers oppertunities for Elders to grow into pastors.

MUSIC AND FINE ARTS MINISTRY - EXALTING THE SAVIOR
Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song. (Ps. 149:1)
Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise Him with the stringed instruments and organs.
Priaise Him upon the loud cymbals. (Ps. 150:3-5)
Musicians, vocalists, dancers, praise and worship leaders are dedicated to leading God's people into worship - ushering them past the veil and into the presence of His Majesty, our King of Kings.

AUDIO- VIDEO MINISTRY
Audio and Video technicians provide the church with the technical support for all events that require sound or video reinforcement. These events include Worship Services, rehearsals, concerts, as well as remote events that require set-up and operation of a audio or video system on and off the grounds of The Mercy Seat.

TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY
Transportation is available upon special requests of individuals needing a ride to and from church. It also provides transportation for invited guests, staff, and the various ministry departments. Members of the transportation team endeavor to serve the people of God in a courteous, professional manner with a Spirit of Excellence.

GROWING KIDS FOR THE KINGDOM
Jesus said, "Suffer little children...to come unto Me; for of such is the kingdom of heaven. (Matt. 19:14)
Nursery: Infants and Toddlers: ages 0-3
Children's Church: ages 4-12
Kids have their own Worship Service while adults have theirs. Songs, games, creative activities that teach the Word and Godly values at age-appropriate levels are used to enhance the kids' worship.
Special Events - Just for Fun: Camping, fishing, ball games, amusement parks, and much more!
The purpose of the children's ministry is to do everything possible to help children develop a relationship with God. It is committed to assisting parents in training up their children in the way they should go, by providing spiritual support, Godly education, and counsel of the children.

YOUTH MINISTRY - ENCOUNTER
Grades 7-12 Wednesday 6:30 p.m.
Dynamic Speakers - Small group discussion and Bible Studies - all are geared to strengthen youth in their walk with Jesus Christ.
The Mercy Seat youth ministry seeks to minister to the special needs of teens in transition between childhood and adulthood. These are difficult and challenging years during which love and direction are crucial. Our youth pastors and leaders are dedicated to helping youth find their way by helping them realize that the only true way is Jesus Christ.
