What denomination are you affiliated with?

 

The Mercy Seat Church is a non-denominational, multi-cultural body of believers who seek to bring God glory from what He accomplished at Calvary.

 

Why are we not part of a denomination?

 

While denominational churches have, for the most part, been instrumental in facilitating the kingdom of God, we want to bridge the gaps that have been created by the lack of cooperation because of focusing on theological differences. There have been fractures that have crippled congregations from being able to love past the theological differences. We hope to eliminate that focus and appeal to the higher law of love.

 

What do I wear?

 

We're glad you asked! Our desire is that you enjoy the differences here at The Mercy Seat Church so we encourage you to dress comfortably. Whether professional or casual....whatever your forte, you'll fit right in.

 

How can I join?

 

Joining the Mercy Seat is simple. We offer Class 101 – An Introduction to our Church Family – which is taught by our Bishop. You will learn about our vision, history, and so much more. This class is offered each month. Child care is provided so bring your children. At the end of Class 101 you may enter into The Mercy Seat Membership Covenant..

When and where do you meet?

 

Our church is located at 7561 Boulevard 26, North Richland Hills, TX 76118, just 2 blocks south of Loop 820. Our worship service begins at 10:00 am each Sunday morning and 7:00 pm for mid-week services held on Wednesday.

 

What are E-Groups?

 

Eternity Groups are the small home groups of The Mercy Seat Church. Our E-Groups are the heartbeat of The Mercy Seat Church and are designed just for you. A group of committed ministers who provide fellowship, bible study, and worship for their community to equip every neighbor with the mindset of Eternity. Visit our welcome center before or after service to find and E-Group near you.

 

Do you have a children's ministry?

 

Absolutely! At The Mercy Seat Church we highly value children so bring your's to be a part of the King's Kids Ministry. We have specialized ministry for ages 0-11 years old on Sunday and Wednesday and then for 12-18 years old on Wednesday evenings. Check-in time on Sunday begins at 9:15 am. We look forward to seeing your awesome kids on Sunday and Wednesday!

 

Sometimes I'm a little pressed for time, do you have a cafe?

 

We all have the unexpected happen at one time or another so, for your convenience our Holy Grounds Coffee Cafe is open prior to our services on Sunday. Come and enjoy coffee and donuts as well as a time of fellowship beginning at 8:45 am every Sunday morning.

 

What style of worship do you have?

 

At The Mercy Seat Church you can look forward to an energetic worship experience as stated in Acts 3:8-16. We are a multi-cultural church that embraces all genres of Christian music and blends it in such a way that it is inviting to all age and ethnic groups.
